Differences & similarities
Functionally, there is little difference between the two types of bags. The difference is mainly evident in their brand image: Stand-Up Pouches score points for their flexibility, cost-effectiveness and rapid availability, while Flat Bottom Pouches are used specifically for premium positioning and create a stronger visual presence on the shelf.
Stand-Up Pouches are available from Labelisten with standard zippers or Hook-to-hook zippers. Flat Bottom Pouches can be fitted with Hook-to-hook zippers or pocket zippers. The pocket zipper is available exclusively for block bottom pouches and is particularly popular for premium products, as it is discreetly integrated and gives the pouch a very tidy, high-quality appearance.
Stand-Up Pouches are less complex to produce, available without a minimum order quantity and have very short delivery times. Due to their structure, Flat Bottom Pouches require higher production costs, are currently subject to a minimum purchase quantity of 2,500 pieces and have a delivery time of around 20 working days.
